Kef Guesthouse - Vík, Iceland

KEF Guesthouse is a recently renovated family guesthouse located by Iceland´s International Airport.

Kef Guesthouse has proudly served their guests since 2015 in its recently renovated facilities. There are 3 kilometers from our reception to the main entrance of Keflavík international airport. It is a 5 minute drive by road #41 (Reykjanesbraut) which is the main road connecting all the cities, towns and villages of Iceland to its International Airport.

The room selection stands between 3 different setups. The king of the hill is our four person family room with a private bathroom & steaming hot geothermal shower. Second is a four person family room with shared bathrooms & showers. The family rooms offer the most privacy, located opposite to & away from the lobby and common room,

just a few meters away from a second property entrance/exit point. The third & fourth option is our two person rooms with shared bathrooms & showers. Available either with 2 single beds or one double bed.

All rooms offered have large double glass windows & curtains whether you like to absorb the daylight during the day or hunt for the Aurora (northern lights) at night, that is if you are lucky…

For those searching the cool & fresh breath of Icelandic air there is no additional charge to it, just reach for the window & open it, your room will have one for sure.

On the other hand if you are looking to absorb some heat in your body, keep the window closed and pump some geothermal energy into your room by adjusting the temperature to a warmer & more comfortable setting.

All rooms are equipped with a sink & running tap water (hot & cold) as well as a mirror and a closet.
