Innovation House Reykjavik - Seltjarnarnes, Iceland

Jon von Tetzchner, a successful technology entrepreneur living near Boston, Massachusetts, founded Innovation House with the goal of providing incubating local startups and entrepreneurs in Iceland with inexpensive, turn-key offices, networking and collaboration space. The shopping center at Eidistorg, not far from Jon's childhood home and the place of many happy memories, proved to be the perfect location. Despite living in Norway and now the US, Jon still has a large extended family in Iceland and wanted to contribute to the country's economic development following the financial crisis. Thus, when the office building in Eidistorg went up for sale, the idea for Innovation House was born.
