Curio - Reykjavík, Iceland

Founded in 1994, Curio began as a producer of traditional machinery, but in recent years has shifted its focus to seafood processing machines for heading, filleting, skinning, and sharpening. In 2008, their new line of seafood processing machines was launched and quickly became a success when they completed their first header that summer. By the end of the year, they had received 14 orders for skinning machines. From 2008 to 2012, their production capacity was 3-4 machines per year, but since moving to their current location, they have been able to increase that to 12-24 machines annually. The Curio technicians and designers are continuously working to improve the longevity, usability, and speed of their seafood processing machines.
