They utilize natural, biodegradable fabrics and yarns such as warm, water-resistant alpaca and wool, as well as soft and delicate hand-harvested pima cotton and linen, which are all highly durable. The owners personally select the best possible methods, facilities and staff policies for the factories they use to guarantee that the entire production process is lean and eco-friendly. Any excess yarn is used to craft hand-knit scarves and hats. Although this approach comes with an increased cost, the benefits for both the laborers and the environment are tremendous.
